DATA DELETION
Request data deletion
Manual request process
MARVIN is operated by TCM Strategy LLC. Any user or authorized agency representative can start a deletion request by emailing alex@tcmstrategy.com with the subject “MARVIN data deletion request”. This manual process also covers requests beyond the direct Google connection controls described below.
Include the account email, agency name, and the affected Meta or Google ad accounts or other data you want reviewed. Do not send passwords, access tokens, API keys, MCP tokens, or other secrets.
Verification and completion
We verify that the requester has authority to make the request, clarify its scope, process the request, and confirm completion. We handle requests promptly and as soon as reasonably possible within applicable legal, Meta, and customer-agreement deadlines. We provide updates if verification, scope, or the systems involved affect timing.
Direct Google data
An agency administrator can select Delete Google Data in Agency Setup and type DELETE GOOGLE DATA to confirm. This stops Google retrieval and deletes the agency's direct Google credentials, imported facts, staged imports and known local reports and saved chats that used those facts. Client account mappings and unrelated data remain. This action cannot be undone. Contact support for broader deletion requests, including historical data imported through another provider or copies held by connected services.
Requests from Meta
For a Meta-issued signed deletion request, MARVIN also accepts the configured signed callback. A valid callback records the request and returns a confirmation code and a status URL. The status can show that the request was received, requires local review, is in progress, is complete, or could not be completed. This callback path does not replace the manual email process for users, authorized agency representatives, or requests that cover a broader scope.
Disconnecting is different
Stopping imports or disconnecting an integration stops future collection or synchronization. It does not by itself delete history already stored in MARVIN. Say clearly whether you want an integration disconnected, historical data deleted, or both.
MARVIN deletes data when it is no longer needed for a permitted continuing purpose and when a valid deletion request or service termination requires deletion. After a request or termination, MARVIN retains data only where applicable law or applicable platform terms permit or require retention. Any retained data is limited to that purpose, and MARVIN explains any material exception to the requester.
Meta Platform Data
If your request concerns Meta data processed through a customer-authorized MARVIN reporting connection or a current direct Meta connection in private testing, identify the affected ad accounts or data. The private-test connection uses a personal Facebook user access token with read-only reporting permissions, lets the user select accounts inside MARVIN, and imports aggregated ad reporting data. Aggregated, anonymized, and derived data from a Meta source remains Meta Platform Data for deletion purposes.
Copies outside MARVIN
This process covers data MARVIN controls. MARVIN handles required deletion instructions with its own service providers. Copies already sent to customer-controlled tools, agents, exports, or other external services are controlled by those recipients; ask them directly to delete those copies. This does not limit MARVIN's own obligations for transfers or deletion under applicable law and platform terms.
